We Can Do It! (2021)
Based on “Rosie the Riveter”, a woman working in the arm industry during WWII. The poster was
originally made in 1941 by J. Howard Miller and was supposed to motivate the working women at the time. Later she has become an iconic motive for feminist movements.
Daisy is angry because it is now 2026, a lot of time has passed and while some things may have
changed, women all over the world still have to fight for equal rights and to be taken seriously.
Acrylic on linen canvas.
